I finally started a project for my darling daughter Bethany that I think is finally going to be completed. I received this pattern from Diane, my mother in law/knitting teacher, a few months ago, but with Christmas and the other holidays I haven't had a chance to start working on it or even pick out yarn for it.
Therefore, I can hardly contain my excitement to get started on it. And truth be told, I actually already have. If I could I would work on it all day long, but with a hard working husband and that sweet Bee of mine, needing a wife and mommy during the daytime hours, the project will have to wait to be worked on after bedtime. Luckily I am a pretty fast knitter so my goal is to finish the project in one month. Tomorrow, I will be posting pics of the current state of the project with what yarn I picked out because it is far too late for me to still be up tonight.
The name of the pattern is, "Girls Garter Stitch Swing Jacket." The fabulous pattern was designed by The Sassy Skein, inc for Skacel collection, inc.
